I believe that your dad may be cousin to my father-in-law. The Sanchelli’s here come from Nicolo and Mary Sanchelli or actually Sauchelli.
Nicolo’s (Nick’s) brothers were: Antonio (Tony), and Mariano (Martin)
I believe there may have been a sister as well.
When I saw you visited the site and created a username I thought you were in fact our nephew Chris, but I am glad to see one of the Minnesota group has found us!
Nick and Mary had 5 kids and they are as follows (not sure about exact order)
Perry (deceased)
Ralph (my father-in-law)
Larry (deceased)
Flora (deceased)
Florita or Babe as she’s known
I found your web site. All I can say is I hope you can keep it up. The Minnesota Sanchelli Cousins are happy to see that we have a BRAINY MEMBER IN THE FAMILY, EVEN IF BY MARRIAGE.
My brother Joe & I[Nellie] are the oldest of the !st generation of the Sanch family born in the U,S.A & your Father-in-law [Ralph] is right after us. Then comes Babe.

Hey guys. I am Michael Sanchelli(Sauchelli) from Jefferson Twp. in New Jersey. We are related. I am one of ten children to Joseph C. Sanchelli and Ruth (Pillion) Sanchelli. My dad has passed in March of 2006. His family is from Nicolo and Benevento in Italia. I was there for three years and researched many family members. Many of our relatives emigrated to Argentina many many years ago. I have spoken with the Sanchelli’s in Minnesota. We need to some how get our families together. Hope to hear from you.

Jachelli is a ‘nickname’ and not our Family name. Our family name is Sanchelli, so unless that is your family name too we are probably not related.

Hello, I am the grand-daughter of Perry Sanchelli. He had a sister named Babe and from reading the above comments I belive we are related. It doesn’t look like there is much activity here so I hope someone reads this.

Your grandfather was brother to my father in-law (Ralph) and to Babe, my husband’s aunt. Ralph and Babe (Florita) are the only two left in their generation. My husband Robert would be your 1st cousin once removed.
Looking forward to the reunion once again in September. Plan on traveling out to the East Coast next year and am hoping to touch base with our relatives out east. Our cousin Kathy Renner has been in contact with Franco and leonardo Sauchelli in Italy and they have expressed an interest in coming to the East Coast at some point in time to meet. As we become more familar with one an other, imagine the possiblilties.

Hi – I’m looking for the family of Charles R. Sanchelli, originally from Irvington, NJ. I have WWII letters he wrote to my mother (a neighborhood friend) from boot camp and would like to pass them on. If he survived the war, he would be in his late 80s – or even early 90s. The last one I have is postmarked 3/7/44 from Hunter Field, GA – before he was shipped overseas. He was in some branch of the Air Force and was a Sgt., ID 32762712. I do not know anything about his family.
